"***Update *** I filed a corporate complaint to which Angela was notified of . She emailed me today and advised me Margaret was not only NOT terminated but Angela feels I should find another agent. So she would rather lose a client than do the right thing! I have filed a grievance with corporate again and I will not settle until Margaret is not longer employed. This is unforgivable. The fact that Angela is not firing her tells me she allows this kind of thing to happen often as Margaret felt so at ease sending it in the first place ! And then she has the nerve to tell me that my Google review will hurt her business as if SHE is the victim here! And everything is documented in writing as evidence. I HAD PREVIOUSLY LEFT A FIVE STAR REVIEW PRAISING ANGELA FOR HER COURTESY AND WILLINGNESS TO CORRECT MY PREVIOUS ISSUE , HOWEVER TODAY I AM UPDATING TO A ONE STAR AFTER WHAT I JUST WENT THROUGH. MY INSURANCE PREMIUM WENT UP 86 DOLLARS PER MONTH FOR MY RENEWALL AND OFCOURSE I WAS CONCERNED AS THAT IS A LOT. I SPOKE TO THE OFFICE MANAGER MARGARET MANN AND SHE WAS VERY RUDE TO ME STATING THAT "IT IS WHAT IT IS " AND " EVERYONES INSURANCE WENT UP" AND THEN TELLING ME UNLESS I RAISE MY DEDUCTIBLES THERE WAS NO WAY TO GET THE PREMIUM DOWN. SHE COULDNT EVEN GIVE ME A VIABLE REASON MY SPECIFIC POLICY WENT UP THAT MUCH AND HER TONE WAS THAT SHE COULD CARE LESS AND RUSHED THE CALL AS IF I WAS WASTING HER TIME. WHEN I SAID I WILL HAVE TO LOOK AT OTHER COMPANIES FOR QUOTES AS I JUST CANNOT AFFORD $ 506.00 A MONTH SHE AGAIN SAID WELL THEY WILL BE HIGH TOO VERY RUDELY. I THEN ASKED FOR MY ACTUAL AGENT ANGELA HOLBERT TO CALL ME BACK AS I WISH TO DISCUSS WITH HER BEFORE SHOPPING AROUND AS I LOVE THE COVERAGE AND THUS FAR THE SERVICE HERE FOR THE MOST PART OTHER THAN AN EX EMPLOYEE WHEN WE FIRST SIGNED UP WHO WAS EQUALLY RUDE. APPARENTLY SHE IS NO LONGER WITH THE COMPANY. HER RESPONSE TO ME ASKING TO SPEAK WITH ANGELA WAS " ILL LET HER KNOW AND "IF" SHE HAS TIME SHE WILL CALL YOU ". SHE IS MY AGENT SO HER LITERAL JOB IS TO MAKE TIME TO TALK TO ME. ( NOTHING AGAINST ANGELA SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN AWESOME )AND WE ENDED THE CALL. I THEN GET AN EMAIL IMMEDIATELY AFTER MARGARENT AND I HANG UP FROM MARGARET'S COMPANY EMAIL THAT I ASSUME WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TO ANGELA BUT INSTEAD SHE SENT TO ME THAT READ, ....." I THINK SHE IS HALF CRAZY" ..... REFERRING TO ME AS A CUSTOMER FOR SIMPLY BEING CONCERNED AS TO WHY MY BILL WENT UP $86 A MONTH! I IMMEDIATLEY CALLED THE OFFICE AND DEMANDED TO SPEAK WITH ANGELA TO WHICH SHE WAS ALL OF THE SUDDEN AVAILABLE WHICH I WAS TOLD JUST A FEW MOMENTS PRIOR THAT SHE WAS NOT IN THE OFFICE. I ADVISED HER WHAT HAD JUST HAPPENED AND WHAT WAS SENT TO ME AND SHE BEGAN TO APOLIGIZE OVER AND OVER AND SAID SHE WOULD GO TALK TO MARGARET TO WHICH I DEMANDED SHE DO MORE THAN SPEAK TO HER. THIS IS GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION. THIS IS UNETHICAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL EVEN MORE SO FOR AN OFFICE MANAGER. IF THIS IS HOW SHE TALKS ABOUT CUSTOMERS AND CLIENTS BEHIND THIER BACK THAT IS NOT SAYING MUCH FOR WHAT TYPE OF COMPANY STATE FARM IS. I WOULD ASSUME ANGELA WILL DO THE RIGHT THING AND TERMINATE MRS. MANN'S EMPLOYMENT BUT I WILL BE FOLLOWING UP WITH THE CEO JON FARNEY TO MAKE SURE THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN TO MYSELF OR ANYONE ELSE. I KNOW THEY ARE IN THIS TO MAKE A LIVING BUT I TOO HAVE A RIGHT AS A CONSUMER TO ASK QUESTIONS AND IT IS NOT "HALF CRAZY" TO BE CONERNED WHEN A RATE GOES UP $ 86.00 PER MONTH OUT OF THE BLUE LIKE THAT FOR WHATEVER REASON. I HAVE ALSO FORWARDED THE EMAIL FROM MARGARET TO ANGELA SO SHE CAN READ THE EMAIL FOR HERSELF. BELOW IS A COPY OF THE EMAIL I WAS SENT ."

The email you received is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the level of professionalism and respect we strive to maintain for all of our clients. We are addressing this matter internally to ensure it is handled appropriately and that steps are taken to prevent this from happening again. Please know that Angela will be reaching out to you directly to further discuss the situation and work toward a resolution. We value you as a customer and are committed to making this right. Thank you for your patience, and we apologize again for this unfortunate experience."

"We have had a great experience with CJ helping us get set up with all our insurance needs from the day we moved to S. Carolina. He is outstanding with taking the time to explain all the terms and recommend ways to save money, while still ensuring we have the proper coverage for our needs. With a tight deadline (needed insurance prior to getting cars registered by a certain date), CJ made the time to get all our paperwork done and we can't thank him enough! He also helped us get renters policies for my mother and our households as well as an umbrella policy! Thank you so much for all the help and speedy service CJ!"

"Horrible agency and I’ve been dealing with this agency for years. Bob horrible I had a very bad experience with this agency. They messed up my mom’s claim and my mom is deceased ,This is my second review I don’t know what they did with the lasted review that I wrote . "The entire staff at Angela Holbert State Farm is what has kept me with State Farm even though my insurance rates have gone up exponentially. They go above and beyond to make me feel like a valued part of the State Farm family. CJ at Angela Holbert State Farm took a situation that was causing me a lot of stress and anxiety, and fixed it all within a matter of minutes. He is outstanding. He made a few calls and took care of everything. Sending me exactly what I needed. The entire situation was handled in less than five minutes. He is truly amazing. CJ is an asset to State Farm."
